Recently there seems to be more shipments of LASER packages coming in that are still in their original cartons. Hey guys this is not rocket science, if you cannot take these large laser cartridges out of the box and gang them 10 to a box, we cannot profit from these shipments for one simple reason, (cost of shipping eats all the profits). Recently as this past Monday we received a shipment from a University, a total of 10 cartridges with a total of 10 INDIVDUAL shipping labels. The cost on this shipment was not a laughing matter, not to leave out 3 remans that wasn’t even on our list that was also shipped. We paid this university for all the recyclabe laser cartridges minus shipping cost for these that were unrecyclabe. This practice cannot continue. Therefore we will not longer continue to pay for cartridges that are sent individually. This could have been remedied by at the vey least taping 6 boxes together and 4 together, even though this is not the optimal packing solution. PLEASE take all lasers out of their cartons and put as many as possible into a larger box. We accept these lasers as a service, monitary rewards are really nominal. If this continues we will be forced to discontinue accepting LASERS.

]]> 2007-02-20T19:27:19-05:00 Stickers http://www.cash4cartridgesusa.com/blog/index.php/weblog/stickers/ One of our accounts, a hospital, has recently come across a great idea.  They began putting stickers on all of their printers inside of the hospital which read as follows:  “Please Return All Empty Printer Cartridges To Materials Management For Recycling.” The idea behind putting stickers which instruct the employees in the hospital about what to do with the hospital’s empty printer cartridges is obvious:  You don’t have to constantly e-mail or post notices about printer cartridge recycling.  The reminder is at the source.  If you work in an environment where such a sticker solution would be viable, please consider putting small stickers on the printers instructing others about recycling the printer cartridges.  It is the fastest and most effective way we have seen to get and keep the word out about recycling empty inkjet and laser printer cartridges.  Best of luck!
