Stickers
One of our accounts, a hospital, has recently come across a great idea. They began putting stickers on all of their printers inside of the hospital which read as follows: “Please Return All Empty Printer Cartridges To Materials Management For Recycling.” The idea behind putting stickers which instruct the employees in the hospital about what to do with the hospital’s empty printer cartridges is obvious: You don’t have to constantly e-mail or post notices about printer cartridge recycling. The reminder is at the source. If you work in an environment where such a sticker solution would be viable, please consider putting small stickers on the printers instructing others about recycling the printer cartridges. It is the fastest and most effective way we have seen to get and keep the word out about recycling empty inkjet and laser printer cartridges. Best of luck!

Weight Issue Solved
Thanks to those Cash4Cartridges USA Participants who alerted our website support team to the problem occuring when an empty printer cartridge shipment was submitted via our online form. The weight of the box was not being transmitted successfully, however, that problem has been remedied and our website is once again 100% functional. Shipping Made Easier
In order to better serve our Participants, we have eliminated the necesity to have the box dimensions for our empty printer cartridge recycling shipments. The weight of the box, however, is still required for shipping purposes.
This change will help speed up the ability of our Participants to quickly and easily enter the inkjet and laser cartridges they want to recycle. This change has been made to both the fax form and the online empty cartridge submission form (located under “Send In A Shipment” in the Participant Area).
If you have another suggestion we can make to our website, please let us know!

2 Ways To Send Your Cartridges
For those Participants who don’t like to use or don’t feel comfortable with sending us your cartridges via our website, we have recently made it easier for you to fax us a list of your empty cartridges you would like to recycle. You can still send us a list of the cartridges you would like to recycle by logging-in to our Participant Area and selecting “Send In A Shipment" (Registration Req.). However, if you would like to send us your list of empty inkjet and laser printer cartridges via Fax, you may do so by filling out and faxing to us the Cash4CartridgesSalesForm.pdf (in PDF format). Whichever way you choose to recycle with Cash4Cartridges USA, you will receive the fast and friendly customer service you have come to expect! A Participant Response
I am a (Cash4Cartridges USA Cartridge Recycling Participant), my school signed up and we have recieved several cartridges but none of which is on
your list. What should I do?
Dear Participant,
Don’t get discouraged! This is just like any other new endeavor; it takes
learning what works.
The most successful cartridge recycling schools communicate with parents via
flyers and posters, and make it a point to let them know specifically which
cartridges can be recycled and profitable for the school. If you don’t tell
them which cartridges you need, you’ll find that your collection boxes
fill-up with (a) previously recycled cartridges (many of which are
remanufactured/compatible cartridges) and (b) Epson cartridges and many
others which are made from non-recyclable materials.
If you send a flyer or a copy of our price sheet home with students, parents
will begin saving the valuable cartridges from their places of employment.
Numerous schools have taken it one step further, they send information
directly to nearby business corporate offices (insurance company corporate
offices and call centers are two excellent sources of cartridges).
Also, look at how the recycling can be a valuable learning experience for
the students. Do you have Jr. Achievement at your school?
